GENERAL SITE RULES
- Uphill Marina Limited will not accept anyone under the age of 18 unless accompanied by an adult.
- All guests must be registered, and all fees paid at reception before arrival and before pitching up.
- All vehicle registrations must be given on booking or at reception if different to your booking to help us with our security measures.
- Please ensure that you follow the pitch / parking instructions illustrated below, this is for fire safety regulations. Sleeping in awnings is not permitted.
All units must be 6m apart and habitation doors away from each other. - No ground fires are permitted under any circumstances. You will be asked to leave immediately if a camp fire is lit.
- BBQ's are permitted as long as they are lifted up away from the grass and that they do not cause harm to others or damage the grass.
- Please make sure you keep the door to the shower/toilet block closed at all times. The code to the door will be provided before arrival.
- Please do not put anything other than human waste and toilet tissue down the toilets or chemical waste point. We have our own sewage system and anything other than toilet tissue blocks our pump which we have to manually remove. Please place wet wipes, and sanitary items etc in a bin.
- No driving around the site after 11pm please for the comfort of other guests.
- Please keep to a maximum speed limit of 5mph throughout the site.
- No loud music on the site please at any time.
Uphill Marina is a quiet Touring Park, please respect other guests.
Please keep any noise to a minimum after 10pm. - All guests are asked to be considerate to other site users at all times, please do not walk across pitches booked by others unless to plug in behind.
- All pitches must be vacated by 11am on the day of departure - our late check out area is located within the boat yard, and must be prebooked.
- Children must be accompanied at all times by an adult, please make sure children are supervised by the water side as we will not be held responsible for any accidents. No ball games on site please due to vehicles.
- Dogs must be kept on a leads at all times whilst on site, (dogs are allowed on certain parts of Weston-super-Mare Beach all the year round and Uphill Beach all year round). All fouling must be collected and disposed of along with general waste. Dogs must never be left unattended on-site. Dogs may use the lake for swimming at owners own risk.
- We have bins located by the front gate. We have 2 large containers for general waste only - these are not for large items in the form of blow ups, deckchairs and electrical items etc, please dispose of these at a refuse centre. Please do not leave food around the site as this can attract unwanted vermin.
- The Touring Park is located by our salt water lake. We now allow swimming in the lake, however a signed waiver will need to be completed in the office (different to the Lake Disclaimer). Fishing is permitted, and guests are allowed to use the lake for non motorised craft etc. We allow small quiet remote boats to be used on the lake, but please no petrol models permitted. Please sign a disclaimer before you use the lake for anything other than remote boats or fishing.
- Drones or any flying aircraft are not permitted to take off or land at this site.
- Day visitors are welcome, and we ask you to not give out the gate codes but meet them at the gate. We are unable to accommodate extra vehicles and ask visitors park off site. Visitors must be checked in at Reception and there will be a £3 fee.
- Please note we do not accept fold out units - ie tents, trailer tents, trailer caravans. If you falsely book under a caravan/motorhome/campervan, you will be asked to leave the site and will not be issued a refund. We do not accept these types of units.
- Due to our surroundings and quiet conservation area, we do not allow the use of generators.
- Electric cars are not permitted to be charged on site.
- Complaints :
i) Any complaints must be completed face to face before leaving the site to enable us to respond and rectify - no complaints will be upheld after departure.
ii) An unwarranted bad review without the above being followed will respond in legal action being taken against the person leaving the review. Blackmail is illegal.
GENERAL CONDITIONS:
CANCELLATIONS
Up to 28 days of arrival date: Full refund minus £15.00 booking fee or free change of date (if available).
Within 28 days of arrival date: No refunds under any circumstances. If we manage to rebook your original booking either fully or part of, we shall credit each night rebooked less a £5 admin fee per night to your account. Credits applied are valid for a maximum of 6 months and can only be used ONCE.
We are not responsible if you have booked your stay due to a local event that is subsequently cancelled.
A CHANGE OF DATE IS A STILL A CANCELLATION OF ORIGINAL BOOKING DATE AND WILL BE TREATED AS ABOVE.
REFUNDS
Sorry, no refunds (or credits) will be given for early termination of stay under any circumstances.
Reviews:
The threat of a bad review will not warrant a refund or credit. Blackmail is illegal.
ALL BELONGINGS
Are left on-site at owners risk.
PITCH LOCATION
We do allow requests of specific pitches where available, please bear in mind that pitches could be reallocated in exceptional circumstances. You will receive a text on the morning of arrival stating your allocated pitch.
ELECTRICITY
We cannot guarantee uninterrupted electrical supply to the site. Low wattage electric heating units are only permitted for short periods to avoid overload to the power supply. Please use specific camping electrical goods - a household kettle alone can trip the electric which is a 10amp supply per pitch.
WATER
We cannot guarantee the amount of water pressure or water quality on-site.
INSURANCE CLAIMS
You are responsible for the first £5,000 of any claim made against Uphill Marina Limited, for whatever reason.
Failure to adhere to any of these conditions may result in the early termination of your stay.
